There are some that really believe the crap they are selling. You know the type, TOTALLY full of it, AND actually, believing what they are saying.
Sometimes it’s simply a matter of saying it enough times that they start to believe it’s true.
Sometimes they are just a bit delusional and can’t differentiate between truth and untruth.
If you want to get ahead in this world, you need to have amazing passion. You need to have belief whenever one else doubts. You need to FORCE your own belief when you yourself doubt.
There is a temptation right there, to spin. To take the truth and distort it. It happens ALL the FREAKING time. In the name of influence, in the name of progress, in the name of hustle, business, and entrepreneurship.

A little twist here, a little push there. Just a bit, not too much, but just a bit to make the story sweeter, the tale grander.
Soon your grand vision is nothing but your inflated ego pushing something that’s not at all based in reality, but your interterminal fantasy of self-justifications and compromises.
Keep at it, and soon you’ll not even recognize the real truth anymore. I have worked with so many like this and met with even more. It’s a slippery slope and a darn dangerous trap.
Make sure you’re not one. Make sure you’re not creating your own fantasy and proclaiming with such a passionate confidence that you start to believe your own crap.
Stand firm on your ethics, truth, and the reality of what’s “actually” true.

Passionately proclaiming falsities as truth, doesn’t make them true.
