Time has no master and no agenda. It should always be respected but never feared.

What happens in our little slice of time makes all the difference. Time shouldn’t be feared; it should be leveraged. Time shouldn’t be feared; it should be embraced.

Perspective can change your opinions, but it can never alter the truth.

Perspective can change your opinions, but it can never alter truth. Truth remains steadfast and unwavering regardless of spin, manipulation, or culture.

Time is short.

We let our days, weeks, and months fill up with stuff, and never spend the time, or make the investment into the relationships that matter most.

Being Your Kids Friends

It takes work, and the work comes when you want it the least. Right from the day you bring them home from the hospital.

Age is rarely a sign of relevancy, but more often a sign of wisdom.

I want to fix this problem one relationship at a time, setting one example after another; you with me?

Time spent in reflection is always well worth it.

It’s hard, really tough to just “stop” sometimes. Life gets all up in your grill and demands your attention, demands you run not walk, demands you get up OFF the chair and do something, and do it right now!

Sometimes you find the most interesting things when you cross over to the other side.

When was the last time you took the time or spent the effort to put yourself in someone else’s seat? To “walk a mile in their shoes?”

Keep the childlike energy and optimism, it looks darn good on you.

Here’s the thing, as time moves on we can react and interact with it in one of two ways. Let the hardness of life turn us into bitter old asses, or embrace time passing and enjoy the life we have.

The grass isn’t actually any greener.

Trust me, it might look greener over there, but it’s not. If you look closer you’ll see that your grass is actually pretty darn green, and you know what, it’s YOUR grass.
