What would happen if we kept our dreams, worked our dreams, sought after our dreams, and no one was around to tell us we didn’t have a shot, that there was no way.
Think about all the worthless crap you learned growing up in school. Think about all the things you WISH you would have been taught when you found yourself in the real world one day.
This “real life” knowledge is so valuable, and 100% MISSED by the school system.
I’m not sure there is anything more important than pouring into the next generation. I don’t know how else to look at it other than we all have a responsibility to teach, train, and equip today’s youth.
It’s a fast moving train you know; you need to grab on tight and don’t let go. It’ll be scary sometimes, exhilarating others, and painful as well. Don’t let go. No matter what, Don’t let go. Hold on to the little moments with those you love. Embrace the simple joys, the quiet moments, the smiles, […]
We have a “way” don’t we? A way of taking even the simplest things in life and “complicating” them to the point of difficulty and struggle. Why do we do this? Why do we take beautifully simple things and make them hard? Why do we brush off simple joys in life as nonimportant, or not […]

I mean, invest in your future by the things you do. There is nothing more value to you, nothing as limited, nothing as precious as your time. How do […]
I’m not saying it’s not going to be hard though. “I freaking can’t WAIT until my kids are out of the house” she said with a serious look, the kind of look that you know you shouldn’t question. It was the same response I’ve gotten many times. Here’s another one, “How old are your kids?” […]
Everything. They can steal, trick, borrow, beg, and take it all. Well, not everything. They can’t steal your memories. The time you share with friends and family, the time you invest in your kids and enjoy with your spouse. That time, those memories, are yours forever. No one can take them from you. Those memories […]
