There are about 7 billion people wandering around this earth these days. A lot of them are pretty of cool no doubt, and if you’re lucky, you’re gonna have a nice life maybe live into your 80s or 90s or even beyond, and you’ll get to spend it with a select few of those 7 billion.

Really though, that’s a short time. VERY short.

Life is so much “richer” when shared with others. If 80 or 90 years (if you’re lucky) are all you get, you want to be DARN sure you’re spending them with the right people. Amazing people, people that build you up, lift you up, encourage you, and believe in you.

Some will find people to share their life with that are not like this. Draining, negative, and discouraging. They tell you all the ways you suck in so many ways. They often don’t say it directly, but they communicate it. They’re toxic.

Some will just not even try; they’ll journey through life mostly alone, the fear of spending it with the “wrong people” is just too great for them.

Some will invest in relationships and get burned, then give up, vowing never to trust anyone again.

None of these are good options at all. NOT good.

In my years, I’ve tried all of the above. I’ve shut myself off opting for a solo life.

I’ve been burned, I mean REALLY SCREWED by people I thought were close friends, and vowed to never build relationships again.

I’ve even spent time investing with toxic people, not worthing spending 5 min with.

In my life, I’ve learned that life is just so much better when shared with amazing people. People that love you for who you are, warts and all. People that aren’t exactly like you, they may be quite different, but they appreciate the differences. People that are good, hardworking, trustworthy, ethical, and don’t try to manipulate for their own gain.

It’s not an easy task to find them. It requires hard work, investment, and risk. You WILL be burned. You WILL invest in someone, trust them, and they will screw you. Eventually it’s gonna happen.

You need to do it anyway. You need to do it for your sake, and you need to do it for their sake.

Please pay attention, trust with caution, keep both eyes open at all times but invest none the less. Take some risks, even after you’ve been burned.

In the end, if you do, you’ll not regret it, you’ll life a richer life, a sweeter life.

It’s hard for sure, but it’s worth it!
