Do you know why you do what you do? Do you know why you work so hard? Do you know why you’re excited for one thing and not another?

As an entrepreneur, I get the incredible privilege of working with my wife and kids. Every Monday we spend time praying over each our business endeavors, prayer is powerful.

Do you know why you have sacrificed some relationships with some people and not others? Do you know why you did this or that instead of spending time with your spouse or your kid?

Do you even know?

Do you know what your priorities are?

Almost EVERYONE I talk to, coach, or consult, will not even blink when asked: “Do you know what your priorities are?”

Virtually 100% of the time the immediate answer is always, “Yes of course I do, I have thought about it a lot, and my priorities in life are, blah blah blah.”

They reel off a bunch of things like God, Wife, Family, Work or something.

If you then give them a pencil and paper and ask them to write down where they spend their time for the next 30 days in 15 min increments, you’ll find an entirely different story that the “God, Wife, Family, Work.” mantra.

You just will. People don’t typically even know what they spend their time on.

Time is without a doubt THE most important and valuable asset we have as humans. You get what you get; you can’t buy more, you don’t even know exactly how much you have. It’s precious it’s limited, and it’s your best indicator of your REAL priorities.

Do you know yours? Does your life, and time spent match?

Maybe you’re dialed in and spending your most precious resource right in line with what you say are your highest priorities, or maybe not.

It might be time to make some adjustments before you really don’t have any time left.
