Just some awesome mountain peaks peaking in northern California!

There’s a story Napoleon Hill told about a miner who worked a gold mine for years finding nothing. After trying and trying and trying with no success, he sold the mine and all his equipment for a few hundred dollars. As the story goes, the new owners came in, began work, and found gold after digging for only 3 feet.

Why do we quit early? Why do we put in incredible efforts only to stop just before the end, sometimes only 3 feet from the end?

I think it?s often due to simply losing sight of what?s really important. If we let ourselves get caught up in the momentary pain of the current situation, we often can?t see that just around the corner success awaits.

I have been an Entrepreneur for a long time. I have founded or co-founded many businesses, some have worked, some have not. I can tell you from experience that often we stop right before the breakthrough.

If you knew the truth, you wouldn?t stop, right? Unfortunately, You don?t know what?s going to happen and you can?t, it?s just part of how life works. So because of that, you must press on, there may come a time when you can?t proceed when you must give up, but most of the time, we quit before reaching that point.

We stop short, sometimes we stop only three feet from gold.

Just ahead.
Don’t quit early, don’t stop when it’s hard. Just over the horizon your finished goal awaits. Don’t stop 3 feet from gold.
