It always looks so good, what they have, how they live, that house, that car, that job, those kids, that spouse.

Enjoy the grass you have, and dang it, if it ain’t green enough freaking water it!

Let?s face it, we have all become super pros at looking amazing, putting out best foot forward, and taking a pretty darn good selfie.

We are good at looking good, darn good.

The reality is, everyone, even that family that always looks perfect on Instagram has problems. We all struggle, we all feel at times that we aren?t good enough, strong enough, or smart enough. No one has it all together, no one has it all figured out. Oh some are better than others for sure, but everyone still has those days they just wish they could totally do over.

The grass always looks greener, but it never is.

I believe you are you for a reason. You are where you are for a reason. Some of that reason is because of the decisions you made, but some of it is simply because you have a part to play in the grand story of life.

You are you because you matter.

Stop spending time looking arrows the fence at the super green grass over there, just get your eyes back on your own pasture, and start tending to it, start enjoying it more, and start living it, instead of wishing for what you don?t have.

Trust me, it might look greener over there, but it?s not. If you look closer you?ll see that your grass is actually pretty darn green, and you know what, it?s YOUR grass.

Enjoy it.

Inspiration from the Instagram post:

The grass isn’t actually any greener.

Too often we become disenfranchised with our current situation, that darn grass always seems so much greener on the other side of the fence… Until we get over there, then we find truth, we realize that in fact the grass is NOT actually greener at all.
